We’ve found a delicious recipe to make a fresh cranberry infusion! It’s very simple! You can experiment on this one, you can add ingredients or leave some out. You can choose the amount of each ingredient, you can’t do anything wrong, because taste is personal… Some people like it very spiced, others like it as sweet as possible (and add a lot of sugar).
PREPARATION 2 minutes Cooking 25 minutes
- 250 gram fresh cranberries
- 1 liter water
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 1 orange, juiced
- 5 whole cloves
- 2 cinnamon sticks
Take a saucepan (large enough of course) and combine the water and cranberries. Bring it to boil. Add cinnamon sticks and the whole cloves.
Reduce heat and add honey, lemon and orange juice. Simmer for about 15 minutes (or longer if desired). Strain out the cranberries, cloves and cinnamon stick. And poor into a teapot or into the cups right away.
You can serve it hot or cold!
