Sometimes green tea has that special nutty flavour. So we think that green tea in combination with nuts is a perfect match.
We’ve made some matcha mediants, and they are truly lovely.
It’s just a few minutes work and made with only a three ingredients. So when you have guests you can treat them with these delicious beauties!
“A few minutes work to impress your guests”
PREPARATION 10 minutes UNTIL FIRM 5 minutes
- 100 g of white chocolate
- 2 teaspoons matcha powder
- A bag of mixed nuts (or just your favourites)
Melt the white chocolate au bain-marie. You can do this by putting a bowl on top of a pan which contains boiling water. While the chocolate is melting you have to stir gently with a tablespoon. If the chocolate has melted you can add two teaspoons of matcha powder to it. Stir again till you have a beautiful green chocolate colour.
Put some baking paper or aluminium foil on a plate.
Drop small ‘drops’ of your matcha chocolate on the paper or foil. Use the back of a spoon to form circles.
Before the chocolate sets up you have to add your topping (the nuts).
Add three or four nuts on top of your green circle.
Put them in the fridge until firm. You can check this already after five minutes!
They are delicious served cold.
